After an hour's sleep, we woke up, got ready, had breakfast at the coffeeshop, and headed to the airport.

Zero make up + specs + only an hours sleep = ...

We were late!! And we think we heard them announcing daddy's name.

Cheryl filled up the forms, which was usually my job. And I went straight to lala land!

View of the city from the plane. And I saw a lot of interesting buildings, which I tried to match to on land. But every thing looks different.

And we have finally arrived. The experience at their airport was rather frightening. Because every where you turn to, you'll see their people. And the taxi uncles will surround you, trying to provide their service.
In the end, we followed Daddy, as he explored the way to a quiter place.

He decided that we should go eat first, and slowly work things out later. Probably wasn't sure if we should take a cab since we weren't sure how far is the city from the airport. Also since we can't fit in to one cab!! Five of us + four luggage.
We managed to find a little coffee shop near the airport. And I was grumpy cause there were many flies!! We had mee soto, and dry noodles etc.

Then this taxi man said he can send us since he's driving a seven-seater. And after a bumpy ride, we reached our hotel.
It's quite a nice place. The people were very friendly. And we were given hot towels, and soursop juice, which I didn't like, when we arrived.

Cheryl and I shared a bed. And we shared the room w kor.

And Mommy and Daddy took the other room.

There were "hand written" letters in each room, with our names on it.

There's a koi pond at the entrance.

After taking a short nap, we went to the mall to find food.

See how loving my siblings are....

And then we went shopping along the Malioboro street.
Jalan Malioboro, with rows of sidewalk vendors and nearby market and malls, is the primary shopping street for tourists in the city. - Wiki

We dropped by the supermarket 2 minutes away from our hotel.

We were like mountain turtles.
Every few minutes you'll hear...
"Eh cheryl...."
"Kor come see..."
"You see this...."
"Mommmmmmmy!!"
That's organic binjal.

Mini apples...

Juices...

Hugh ass durian...

Mini potatoes...

Mentos for 2370 rupiah = 35 cents!!

And mini ovaltine.

See what my siblings bought!
The milo and mentos is the line to divide them.
Kor bought three packets of nuts, and Cheryl bought the rest!

Cheryl's shopping on Day 1!
