I know its the end of January already.... and this post it a little late! Anyhow, I'm doing this post as a closing for 2011.
2011 was a super eventful year for me. There were a lot changes in every aspect of my life.. family, boyfriend, work....
First
of all, the biggest change was that I finally gotten the courage to
break up and moved on to a new relationship. It wasn't a easy move. But
we had out differences in the relationship and it just seemed that the
timing is right. It reached to the point where I was too tried to even
want to try to work things out. Therefore when the best choice came
along, I took the plunge, and ended a six-year relationship. Everyone
thought that it was a waste, but I knew it was for the better.
Time
passed super quickly! And its two months shy of a year now. I'm glad I
made that move as I'm at a much much happier stage in life now. I'm sure
he has moved on as well. Maybe it's not that he's not good, but just
not what I am looking for.
Charles
has been the sweetest boyfriend on Earth! And (sometimes I feel that)
I'm like the luckiest girl alive! Though there were times when I thought
that it'll be the end, and that maybe I'm not the girl he's looking
for. I had a hard time trying to understand and fit in to this
relationship cause he is very different for my previous r/s. But over
time, until today... I've learn that all I have to do is to trust and
understand. And I'm still trying... And I've learn to appreciate
everything that he has done for me.
In
2011, I managed to go on four trips! Leaving poor boyf in Singapore. I
now understand what it feels like, cause he just left for Bali this
afternoon. It sucks! It's only Day 1 and I miss him! Thank God for Wifi
and Whatsapp~

Worked
in a nail salon for a while... and managed to gain a little experience,
and lots of fun as a manicurist! I managed to meet people from all
walks of life. Most super friendly... and some nasty ones. It was also
one of the best times of the year... thought cause of many reasons we
had to move a few times - SMU to Jeric to Bugis. And finally the
decision to stop and work with PinkRoom. This whole experience made me
see who cared, who helped me in difficult times... and I was glad I met
Charles cause he helped a lot in the moving part.
Earlier
of the year gave me more free time to meet up with my girlfriends...
random lunches and dinner. Every thing cut down after I started working
full time at PinkRoom cause timing was fixed, which became harder to
meet up with friends.

Nails
wise... there's a super huge sense of achievement cause I took part in
TWO competitions overseas and won. Not big prizes, but at least
something! Apart of the prizes, the whole competition training by the
school and experiences were far more precious.
And
I've finally took the Diploma exam and passed! I took the certificate
exam in the year, and passed my gel and acrylic extensions. And finally
the Diploma exam in Dec...
That's
a big big achievement, which probably also meant that I can charge more
if I do services now. Heheh! This also meant that I've kinda achieved
what I've always wanted. Sort of... since I've always liked nails.

In 2011, I also...
Started clubbing and drinking a lot more than the whole 22 years of my life!!
And I've started wearing 4-inch heels all the time cus my boyf is mega much taller than me!!
Caught lots of midnight movies cus thats the only time we're free to meet.
Gotten rid of my bangs.
Screw up a few times at work... and learnt a lot more from that.
Met nice people and horrible ones who don't deliver what they promised.
Started working therefore allowing me to pay for my own trips!
Discover new interesting places with Charles.
Oh! And I found a lump in my boob, went for scans etc and found out that it's not cancer.
So by the end of 2012, I hope that..
1. I'm still attached to Charles.
2. Trust that my boyf won't do anything to betray me.
3. Save some $$.
4. Go on a trip with Charles.
5. Go on a family trip.
6. Work better.
7. Keep my room un-clustered.
8. At least maintain my weight!
9. Manage to spend more time with family and friends despite work.
