110610 Friday [2/2] ❤ Prawns vs kittens

After dropping Mommy and Kor at home, Cheryl and I decided to go prawning. It's Friday night, after all. Also cause we had balance 'credits' from the last time we went, which was like six months ago!

We waited quite a while for a parking lot. And when we reached the counter, we saw Mommy doggie feeding her babies!

And there were kittens!!! Four of them. We shifted a few times, each time closer to the kittens. Hahah!!

Took a few pics, but all failed -.- the kitten kept moving.

I love this pic!! Cheryl took it. That's me in the background.

Heheh!! We kept attracting them to us using the stick.

I like this pic of us ❤

Took Polaroid.

And timer shots. One wonders if our main purpose to go there was to prawn. Well, it's sisters bonding time! You think we'll be close just by living under the same roof??

Cheryl kept leaving me alone to look after both rods. She smile to me, and run to play with the kitten!!!!!!

Supper.

She kept going back to the kittens! And one part, both of us were away from the rods. The guy sitting next to us had to wave to get our attention cause there was a prawn!

And OMG!!! Once, a cockroach came strolling to our seats!! Thankfully there was the uncle who works there sweeping. He got rid of it for us. I think we made a lot of noise that night. And Cheryl says it's okay.

Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. I expected more crowd. Or maybe everyone's gone to watch twenty two hot, sweaty men running after one small ball. The beer garden outside was packed!!

And more....

There, close up of my Rubi shoes that matches my top from YFS. And Cheryl's expensive Havaianas.

There was one 'peak period', where we caught a lot of prawns! We prawned for 3 hours and 45 minutes, and the last hour was zzzz.

Cheryl wanted me to guess how many prawns we caught. And I guessed it right!
We caught twenty - nineteen prawns, and one set of shell.

See this!! The flesh disappeared.

Daddy says prawns, like snakes and crabs, will change their "skin/shell" from time to time. That's why some times, the shell of our prawn will stick to the flesh. Cause it's new, and it'll harden over time. I always thought that it's because it's overcooked/ not fresh (but we just caught it so it's not possible).

But I don't think that the extra set of shell is because of that. Daddy says it doesn't happen so fast. I'll ask him if I have a chance.

Cheryl did all the rough work that day... cut the worm, changed the bait, "skewer" the prawns... I didn't feel like doing such scary stuff that night.

Finally, at 4.25am.
Haha!! Cheryl's sitting in the dark.

We went home, and found PR at the door. She's PR cause she used to come visit time to time. But she has since stopped because we stop feeding her. She's got lots of food downstairs. We're not starving the cat!

CHERYL TANYEO is the prawning partner ever!! ❤
Dear gets bored too quickly. And he don't take prawns. But with Cheryl, we'll take pics when we're bored, and she loveeees prawns. She appreciates every little piece. Need I say more.
