020610 Wednesday ❤ "She looks like a doll."

Lunched with Mommy (who's on MC), Mama and Godparents at Concorde Hotel. We had Nyonya buffet at Spices cafe.

The lady who works there said I look like a doll! And that her (young) son would ask her if I'm real. And another the lady at the satay counter guessed that I'm 17 -.-"""

There was quite a variety of food. They had Peranakan dishes, as well as local dishes like satay, nasi lemak and wanton mee. The service is good, people v.friendly. And because they're Peranakan, the Nyonyas on our table can talk to them in "their" language, which probably made everyone v.happy. It's a special language kay. It's like bahasa melayu, with lots of extra "spices".

Godma says the table behind us are Perankans too. They speak like us. Well, you'll know a Nyonya when you see one. And FYI - they speak nothing like those you see on The Little Nyonya!!

And the cutest thing is that they have kueh salat in PINK! ❤
But the pink and blue ones are not very popular with the crowd. Everyone went for the original green pandan ones. Such boring pple.

The place is so pretty!! Everything is in black and white, with lots of mirrors on the walls. And there's red carnations on every table.

I made fun of Mommy cause her dressing always "camouflage" with the place we're eating at =X

Mommy with Godpa.

Yam in a shape of an apple. And satay with pineapple!! It's not often you get pineapple to go with your satay. I likeeeeee. There's a stall in Whampoa market that used to have it. Not sure if it's still there after the renovations. Daddy used to bring us there a lot.

Apong Bok Kuah with banana/durian sauce, among others.

They're opened between 12-2.30pm for lunch, and we sat there throughout.

After that, we went to Carrefour@PS. And Godpa sent us home.

While unpacking our shopping, I found this -

It's a compressed towel, I think. Mommy told me to give it to Cheryl, and I asked her to put it in the fridge for Cheryl to find it. And she really did! Hahaha!!

Anyway, it's the FLU season and everyone's falling sick. Everyone, please take care! And eat your medicine if you're sick. I've been a good girl, and been taking that horrible black cough mixture. I've always thought that cough mixtures are always in liquid form. But Mommy's doc gave her one in pill form, and it's goooood!! Pills are always better than syrup + this magic pills stops the coughing! She's sharing her medicine with me and Kor. Cheryl's getting hers from the doc since she needs MC, but she has since recovered. Now Kor's getting the virus.

GET WELL SOON, all!! =)
