After which, we drove to Mama's house to pick her up for dinner. But she was tired, and breathless so she didn't want to join us. She was sitting at her garden, said she was waiting for my cousin, who went to meet her sis.
We left, and saw our cousin at the bus stop, and dropped her at Serangoon Garden circle as she's meeting Charmaine there for dinner.
And so, we decided to drop by Mama's house again to tell her that they'll take some time, else she'll wait. That's when my uncle came home. He tried pursauding her, but she won't gave in.
We went to pick Mommy. And after driving around for an hour or so, Cheryl and I were starving.
Then I said, that I should have bought the waffles when we walk pass the bakery earlier on. But I didn't as I scared Cheryl will scold me since we were supposed to bring Mama for Indonesian buffet!! Turns out Cheryl was thinking the exact same thing!!! So dumb.
And speaking of the Indonesian buffet... I wanted Cheryl to call them to change the reservations, and I passed her my phone as I was driving, and wanted her to check my call list for the number. And suddenly, the phone rang!! It's them! So freaky.
Then, I told her to stand by Godpa's number as we were supposed to call him when we're nearer, as we needed to collect something from him. And then, as you've guessed it, he called!
Awhile later, I said "Imagine I ask you to standby Mommy's number, and she calls." And omg!! As I finish that sentence, she called!! And she hung up, probably thinking that I'm driving, can't answer the phone. And Cheryl's phone rung. Stupid Cheryl screamed!! We freaked out kay! It's scary!!
We met up with Mommy. And we had dinner near her office since we were starving. And Cheryl wanted good food to make up the freaky friday we've experienced. "What a Friday night," she said.
We went to Bumbu, a Thai-Indonesian restaurant. Mommy wanted to try it long time ago, but we didn't have much chance.
We had the Plus-one meal. It's $10+ per person I think.
And you get 3 dish for 2 people, 4 for 3, 5 for 4.....
We ordered extra spring roll ($2 with the set meal) and prawn cake ($8.80). And there's spicy prawns, and sweetandsour chicken, green curry and tauhu telur.
I like eating there, cause it's like having a heartwarming homecooked meal. It's about $44+ for the three of us. And there's free flow of rice, and ice lemon tea.
Cheryl's new fringe makes her face look sharper!! Or maybe it's just this pic. But it's nice =)
The waitress asked the guy at the next table what he wanted to drink. And he asked his friend and his friend replied "belachan"
"Drink lah... belachan!" He said with such slang. So funny!! Cheryl and I tried controlling our laughers. But couldn't!! Hahah!! Kay! It's not funny here. =X
The waiter/boss/manager saw us taking time shots, and he offered to help us =)
Cheryl went to the toilet, and I suddenly remember Cheryl's camera had the color thingy function. So I took it out and tried to figure how it works.
And Mommy took this candid shot. It's really candid! Not the kind where you pretend. Haha!!
