101209 - Met up with Yuling and Shuqin at tpy central for lunch. Spent some time at Popular looking at books and games w Yuling, while waiting for Sq to come. Ate at Mac, while discussing about our party again. So much planning yet it feels like it's going to fail since there's so little of us staying over. And I feel we're going to spend a big bomb! What's left in my bank is a single digit... I might have to dig into my personal savings which has been stagnant for some time - no in, no out. Guess it's better than "got out, no in"? Who cares... I'm going to let my hair down, and have a blast. Thought it'll be a good idea for all of us to gather. But in the end, so many of them have other commitments. Well, I know not their fault. I'm just saying. End up, it's the same people again, well sort of. Guess it's good enough for me. But the more the merrier, yo!
After mac, we went to NTUC, and then to the baking stall. I bought the big bear tin as I wanted to bake a panda cake for kor. Turns out, we chatted and chatted AND chatted, and by the time I reached home, it was almost 7pm!! Instead, I went to bathe and got ready for dinner with family.
We met Mommy at the temple near her office. Went to pray, and then drove to Old Airport Road for dinner. No special dinner =( Kor suggested to go Orchard after dinner since we missed the lighting the last time. We dropped our parents off at the pub at Serangoon Garden. Head home to keep the cake. Oh yah! Mommy bought the cake from Hans while waiting for us. Was meant to be a surprise. Then we kept referring it to "this one" until finally kor said "I know, it's the cake!" and did the -.-" face. Wahahaha.
Drove from Tanglin side all the way to Dhoby Ghaut, and we parked at Ion and went to take pics along Orchard Road. Lighting started to go off at midnight. So we decided to call it a night. Went to pick our parents up and came home to cut the cake.
