031009 - After my last post, I went to clean up the kitchen, wash the dishes, wash myself.... and went to bed at 4:44am.

By time we got our butts on the bed, it was 4.44am! and i told sis that we could only sleep for 15minutes! because, dad said he will call at 5am, to go to the market, before he pass the taxi to his partner...
and so, we slept...
FOUR MINUTES LATER...
...sis phone rang!!!! and i was laughing my ass out! sis insisted that she could sleep for that 4minutes, but i talk for that whole four minutes. but i think i didnt talk that much! probably 2minutes?!
at 4.48, we got to get out of bed to get ready, dad was coming in 20minutes time, i got changed, and painted my toe nails!!
500-530: at the market.
Went back and started marinating the meat, and warped the corn and sweet potato in the foil etc. And then went to sleep at around 8am.
Called the rent car man at 10.30am to see if he had a car for me. He said he'll call me back. Meantime, I was half asleep. Till when he called at 12+. Got ready and cabbed down to get the car.
*fast forward*
Came home and got ready....... packed the food. Prepared the cake. And did the fruit tarts since there was some extra time. We waited for Mommy t0 come home from work. Kor drove to pick Jason up and then to Downtown East.
Check in. And to my disappointment, the pit was quite a distance away from the room. I was hoping to get the ones with the pits just outside the room. Tried to change, but it's fully booked.
Robin and Alan came. They sat around and play cards while I did my hair and make up. And Cheryl and Jason did the decorations. AND wth! It started RAINING! omg. Totally disappointed. And I think my face showed. Cus rb told me to cheer up. And next night, Mommy ask if I was unhappy.
My sweet Korkor tried to set up the fire when the rain was a little smaller. He managed. But the rain got heavier. =( Soon, Litong came. Mommy took Tong's umbrella and helped kor with the fire.
Ard then, Bobo came with his gf, Jingxuan. He's so nice la. Came all the way down give me present. He left real soon.... He said must take pic, so that got evidance that he came.
Then Choon May and Weiliang came =) I didn't manage to take pics with them eh!
And then Polymates came. But Tommy had to leave early....
I went to help Kor with the BBQ. Cause it was raining. And Kor was in the rain. I felt really bad. But he told me to go entertain my friends. Soon, Kor Jayson (my cousin) and his wifey came. WITH AN ULTRA BIG UMBRELLA! Managed to shelter the pit. And suddenly he asked me "Why your friends all guys one?" Wahahahaha~~
Soon, Joanna, Shuqin, Carven and Peipei came... Jo, Rb and Tong left for Junying's party. The rest of the FTP pple started playing Monopoly deal.

Around 9. Most of my family arrived. A bit disappointed that Godma and Godpa didn't managed to come. Food was a bit slow as we started bbq-ing late. Polymates only had a little to eat. And I didn't give girlfriends any food. Omg. Wanted to cook fried rice etc but I don't know why I totally forgot bout it. Everybody, blame the rain kay!
I was starving so bad as I didn't eat the whole day. Only munched on biscuit in the car. But I didn't want hurry the "cooks" as I felt bad too. In the end, I went Mac with girlfriends and Alan. That's when Huiying and Yuling arrived.
Kor 'scolded' me the next day for being rude. Cause I left my guests 'unattended'. =X Paiseh uh!! Birthday girl hungry~~
Got Joanna to come back from Junying's party. And we rushed back to cut cake!! =) By the time, it was almost 11pm! Sorry guys, for starting so late. I had to wait for Wing and Yuling to come! And lucky I managed to 'catch' Daddy on the way back. He was about to leave. I'll be sad if he missed it.
I've received compliments on how pretty the cake looks *big smile* And all the 2 day efforts spent on the cake is all worth while. I need thank Cheryl for "giving hope" when I felt like giving up when the icing turn out like *a hum* da pian. And she helped me do the icing.
FYI - there's 4 flavors. Blueberry (purple icing), chocolate peppermint (green icing) which is every one's fav, honey vanilla (yellow) and strawberry (pink). And the cake on top, it's mango mousse cake. Cheryl did the sponge cake with my instructions. And help with the mousse too. I kept giving instructions. Feels like I've never gave so much instructions before. The whole night I keep saying,"Cheryl, can help me........... thanks uh." I never like asking ppl for help. But I really had no choice that night as I was ultra tired. And tight on schedule. THANK YOU CHERYL!!!
Btw, Shuqin and the rest had the mango cake in the morning, and they said it's nice =)
Heh. We managed to find a really nice quiet place for cutting the cake. It's a bit away from the chalet. And it's some one else's bbq table! Wahahha. The background and lighting's pretty.

My aunt said I did a good job =) She's really good in baking. And Mommy always boast that my aunt (her elder sis) baked their cake for their 21st b'days. And there's kor, and Natalie (aunt's goddaughter) and that's Mommy's back.

Didn't join them much as I was in the room with the poly ppl. Huiying Jillian and Carven left after that.
They left around 12+. Made them take pics with me before leaving. And they like so scared I eat them up. Stand so still beside me.

Ex came at around 1am to pass me present. He bought me a LV coin purse. =) He came to the room to find me. Yuling was saying he seems like a nive guy. Hmm. I walked him back to the car. His friends drove. It's his friend's b'day. I wished him, and they wished me back too. Ha!
Shuqin and me went back to the room to clean up the bed and floor. While Yuling and Jo were bbq-ing. That's when Alan left. And we went back to the room with all the food. Ate till so late.
We took turns to wash up. While I opened up the presents.

And Cheryl and Jason gave me a $100 ang pao. So that I can buy the Coach wristlet. Kor asked why Jason give me so much. At the same time, both Cheryl and I replied "I/Jiejie treat him very good hor" =) Heh.

Actually right, I secretly wished tat someone will give me Godiva chocolates. Cause I wanted to try it. But I didn't want to pay for it =X They granted my wish!! Who's idea uh?
After all 4 of us washed up, we sat around and play cards. And ended up playing Truth or Dare. But we didn't do any dares. Haha! We ended up sharing secrets and experience. Which was really nice. But you all don't need scared I spread your secrets. Cause I've forgotten most of it already.
We off the lights and went to sleep at 5+. I don't know why but Yuling went to share the bed with Jo! She and Sq continued talking. But I knocked out. Was super tired by then.
041009 - Next morning, we woke up at 11+. Yuling wasn't feeling good. Hmmm... we had brunch at Just Acia. My treat =) Gordon came to meet Jo. Ate till soooo full! Went to the arcade for awhile. I managed to caught a toy! For the first time!! Not the UFO machine. It's the one where you have to press the button when the number's between 995-1005. Yuling managed to get 1000 ie Jackpot!
Wah. Didn't expect the quality of the pics taken by my phone to be so sharp. Maybe it's cus of the lighting.
Family came at around 4+. I rushed back to the chalet to open the door for them. We went to NTUC to get more food. And had BBQ again that night. Just the 5 of us. Started early. Lucky as it started to rain again later that night.
I sat in the room to sms everyone for coming. It's personalised sms kays! Diff grps received a diff message. Family didn't ask me do much of the preparation. Prob cause it's my b'day!! Else, I'll be the busy one. And Cheryl and Kor will be lying on the bed. =D
I asked Cheryl to try 'hide' the maid in the backgrd. And she said "Can't la. Nvm la. Pretend shes our maid."

We had to bring the food back to the room as it started raining. When the rain almost stop, we bought some stuff out and settled down outside. And guess what, the rain became heavier again! And we had to go back to the room. Well, at least we managed to heat up the food.
I was telling them that my poly mates are so much taller now. Feels like I'm shrinking. Then Kor said, "Ya you're shrinking" I replied, "Ya what, every one will shrink." Turns out, Kor really meant that I'm shrinking, not everyone. Except old ppl of cus.
And then, Cheryl and I were tell them that we keep saying the same things, and like either one of us will answer the question even before the other one ask.
Example 1.
I was complaining about sth....
Me: Ok la. I stop complaining.
Her: Eh. How you know I thinking of that.
Example 2.
Her: Oh no. Win already. Really win already!
*She look at me.*
Her: You know what I talking about?
Me: Wait uh. Let me think..... You never feed my hamster uh!
Her: Ya!!!
Hahahha. But actually I already fed it before leaving.
Another time we gave the same response to Korkor or Mommy during bbq.
The ribbon I bought with Jo and Sq in the afternoon. So cute right!! And so matchy with my phone. It's actually a clip.
Wahahahaha. I brought my Micky+Minnie mouse blanky.
Fat called me at night. He came by to give me present. BIG present =D And we went to pray at the temple.
He said his gift was the biggest. I told him my parents gave me an egg beater which cost 700bucks. Finally, he replied, "2 ppl $700, I still more what."
Can I say what he gave me? Heheh....
Anw, I'm contemplating between a Burberry wallet or bag. Fat gave me (more than) enough to pay for a Burberry wallet. Or should I top up with the rest of my ang pao and get a bag?
