Now for the part II of the wedding.....

Dinner was held at Grand Shanghai Restaurant. It's at the hotel near Zouk. The setting is really beautiful. Old Shanghai feel, with live music. Food and service were not bad as well.

We reached the place around 6pm. Held the traditional tea ceremony there.

My godparents.

Mommy's brother and his wife. Kimkim was v.pretty last night.

They hanged up the photos near the reception. The photos are taken by my cousin's friend, and some by himself. He's a professional photographer! And the photos were edited by my cousin.

I helped with the assemble of the wedding cake.

Final product. And before cutting the cake, the emcee "announced a few facts about the cake".
It's actually 6 layers of fruit cake. Soaked in whiskey for a month. You can just imagine the richness. And it's baked by my aunt and the bride and groom. And they even gave me credit thought I helped in only a small tiny bit with the icing =) Yah, the emcee announced my name. Cool uh.

They'll be keeping the top tier of the cake till the 1st anniversary.
It's de rigueur for newlyweds to save the top tier of their wedding cake to enjoy on the first anniversary. The idea behind this tradition, which dates back as far as the late 19th century, is for couples to savor the cake once again — as well as the memories of the big day and the first year of marriage.

While waiting for the guests to arrive.

Daughters with Daddy...

The main table.

Took family pic at the private room. We were sitting on an opium chair.

And the few of us went out to take pics along the Singapore river.
Yah. One wonders where my tall genes went. And surprise surprise, I'm wearing 3inch heels.

We're on table 11. Just the 3 of us and the 2 sisters, Charmaine and Desiree.

I seriously don't rmb who took this pic for us!! Was it a timer shot?

I took this pic. Our table v.cozy uh.

Camwhore in toilet Part I

4 of us tried take self shots when kor went to the toilet. However, it was really hard as it's the 4 of us, and the restaurant is really dim and red. So we had to use flash.

We all stood up to welcome the couple, who walked round the restaurant.

Occasionally, our godparents and our moms will walked over. I guess the "old pple" table is boring!

Halfway, they went off to change, and came round again in the evening wear.
This time, they were playing my fav "Tonight I celebrate my love".

Cut cake, champagne, and the "yummmmmmmmmm sheng!"
The place is really RED!

The couple gave a speech and in the beginning, it was really sweet. Lik when they thanked their parents for bringing them up and all that. So touching... And they even prepared presents and flowers for both parents.

And they shared the story on how he proposed...
I stole this off Facebook.

Camwhore in toilet Part II

We left soon after the dinner end. Guess the 3 ladies wanted to stay on longer. but Daddy (maybe kor too) wanted to leave. And cause Daddy drank quite a bit. We didn't want to make a fuss. So off we go~~ We joined the "queue" to say goodbye to the bride and groom and their parents before leaving. Gave my cousin (the Groom) and his parents a big hug =) I'm so happy for them.

Lastly, I would like to CONGRATS Kor Jayson and Michelle!
And thank them for the wonderful day. We all had lots of fun yah!
