LET THERE BE SIMS!
Installing Sims 3 on Cheryl's lappy now. My stupid drive is toooo old and can't read the disk (i think). So I've to get a new driver =( We cabbed to Iluma at around 10+am. I think there were 100+ ppl when we arrived. And the first in queue came at 10 last night!!!
**Side track - The installation is done!! Cheryl's creating her character now**
During breakfast with kor, he asked if Ms X removed her blog post about me. He says that it's not right to scold people on the blog! Like if other pple do a search for my name - chelsea tanyeo, they will find it! And since I'm doing online trading, chances are people will search for me. He feels that that person is just being insecure. And is unhappy that Mr Z likes me more (maybe). And she feels second place..... Not that he don't love Ms X, just less. (Actually I can't rmb what he said exactly, but to that gist) And he said a lot more, but
Personally, I suspect Mr Z told Ms X something about me, which Mr Z didn't tell me. And I don't want to talk about it to him as he'll probably lie about it. I hope no one asks me about this! I just need to get it out of my system.
Back to the launch party...
The dress code is green!! Those in green were given free poster. 3 of us (me and parents) were wearing green. Spoilsport korkor wore the Sims 2 tee. But I managed to ask for a poster for him. =) They brought forward the launch by 1 hour. Started at 1pm, which was a good thing for us.
And the emcee said "Do you all have the green or the card?"
Kor stared hard at me, and asked "what's green"
We both started laughing. Then I told him it's "Green order card"
It's actually "PRE ORDER CARD!!"
And the emcee said, many of us have been playing Sims for more than 10 years!! Guess what, Sims was released in year 2000!
And and and, they were having loud club music on! Songs like "I kiss a girl" & "I Wanna Make Love Right Now Na Na Na..." Very inappropriate when most people there were young students!
Same as previous EA launches, only one special item (i.e limited ed Sims 3 t-shirt) per person! And only for the first 600 pple. We took the risk and re-queue. Managed to get 10 tees. On both queues, Mommy asked the person behind to help us take one tee.
While in the queue, I wanted Mommy take a pic of us with the pre order cards. And she took of us only!

Those spotted wearing the Sims 3 tee can get a Sims 3 headband with the Plumbob (the green thing) on top! So cute eh. I took off my green tee in public to change (I was wearing a spaghetti top inside!) and that's when Mayying and Cheryl ang called me from behind! So qiao! Hahaha. Had they appeared earlier, they can help me get 2 more tees!
Soon, Cheryl came (from school).
20 sets of Sims 3
Had lunch at Parco. Which was a bad choice as we missed out on the qns and ans section where we could have won more stuff! =( From there, Kor and Daddy cabbed home with 5 of the bags. We headed to the toilet to change back to our original clothing as all the headbands were given out. We didn't manage to get any!
See Cheryl's sandals soooo nice! I persuaded her to buy from the Taiwan spree, as she was having 2nd thoughts. And I wore my new gladiators today!
After that, we walked around Parco. Bought tops, dresses, watches... a lot of stuff!! =D
And we took neo prints. Mommy and I had to wear the Sims 3 tee as the green would have blended with the background. The tee very big! It's a (ladies size) XL!!!!
Fat, I have a blueblack on my leg too! So you don't blame me for yours okies!
I'm not fat hor! It's just that I was wearing 3 layers of clothes!

Hahahah! I think I actually look quite cute with a ribbon on my head!
Followed by desserts at the food court.
More shopping after that. Bought 5 packets of ToriQ for dinner. And cabbed home.
