Day 1 - Met Nicole and Inesa at Novena at 9+am. Reached KL around 2+. Left our bags at Pink Room KL and headed to Midvalley shopping center for lunch. Started sneezing like no body's business (SQ knows why). After lunch, wanted to start practice. But realised that the adapter don't work! Had to walk over to Midvalley to get one. By then, it was already evening time. Started practice on the left hand (which had to be done at the competition day it self). Did one or two rounds, had mac dinner and then started to do the right hand (which has to be ready for the competition). Slowly do until 3+am!! Cabbed to our hotel. Showered and slept.
Day 2 - Compeition was held at KLCC (convention center) at the twin tower! Nicole got 3rd for French Gel.
A lot of stories. Judges didn't give Nicole first as she didn't want to tell them the brand of white gel she used. -.-" Biased. And the first and second prize nails were 'like shit'! Even I also know. She was angry not because she got 3rd, but cause the judge had the face to tell her tat her skills are good. But she didn't win cause she didn't tell them the brand. Or something like that la. She came back to the seat and throw the trophy on the chairs. Scary! That girl so small sized, got so much strength.
Anyway, we walked around and spotted the 1st and 2nd prize models. And we saw their work. Oh ya. Then another funny thing happened. While Nicole was taking pictures of the 1st prize model, one lady (I think from the same grp as she was packing up) took my hand and see. And asked in Cantonese (they're from Hong Kong) if I was the 1st prize winner... RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE WINNER!! Wahahaha... She just keep quiet lo. Then the other friend told her we're 3rd.
Cabbed to the bus station at around 7+. Managed to take a picture of the Petronas Twin Towers from the cab.
So pretty.
Bus ride was about 4-5 hours. Had cup noodles in the bus. Didn't have time for a proper dinner. Reached home around 1+am. Tired as we were rushing around a lot. But I had fun nonetheless. No time for shopping at all. =( The mall was ultra big! I wished we had more time...
Oh ya. Waited whole week for red red to come. And as expected, it came when I was in KL! -.-"
