Happy New Year!!

Been super duper busy since my last post. Hehe. But I can't rmb busy with what.

CNY eve - steamboat dinner at home. Followed by temple.

CNY day 1 - visited Pig's and both his Grandparents home. Followed by steamboat dinner at Mama's house.







Childish people played with fire sparklers while I helped with the washing up.




Close to midnight, we had the family tradition - Peranakan style "拜拜".
Starts from the eldest aka Mama followed by Aunties and Uncles etc.

The youngers one will kneel and say,
"Pan jang, pan jang u mo"

Loosely translated as - Long, long age.
Or wishing long life.







Followed by family photos.





CNY Day 2 - Pig came over for lunch. We had yusheng (3rd time this CNY)


ate the oranges that was brought by jason.

Already bought tickets for The Wedding Game at 4pm at Vivocity. However, was delayed by lunch and everything. And Mummy wanted to gamble. So forfeited our tickets and stayed home.

The whole family + bfs played blackjack. Mummy was the banker for the whole game. For about 2 hours, she lost $100+ to the whole family! Cheryl and I only won $7 each. Korkor was the biggest winner. He bet $20 and got "ban lak" Mummy had to pay him $40!!

After that we went back to Pig's house to put his stuff. Then to his friend's house for steamboat and more gambling. Took a cab home around 2am. While pig and the rest continued playing.

CNY Day 3 - Went Chinatown with Mummy and her 2 best friends. Tim sum lunch, went $10-club to sing, and dinner. Oh. And yusheng (for the 4th time this CNY).

FYI the first 2 times were at Godma's house way before CNY. Both on the same day as they bought 2 packets. But we "lao" 2 times. Also considered right??
